=======

My registration took a total of three hours, 2.5 of them in the waiting
area ( arrived at 8:00a.m.), there were around 40 people in the waiting
area for the registration . My passport and I-94 was collected initially
when I submitted a form that asked for (all) my addresses and phones in
the US, my mother and fathers name and phone and a reference in the US (
not immediate family ). During the interview I was put under oath and
asked to repeat what I had already put down on the form. A lot of info
was entered into a database along with fingerprints and a photograph. I
want asked for any transcripts or diplomas, and didnt have to present a
rental contract. Overall the experience wasnt too unpleasant ( had worse
in India ), but did leave me feeling among those singled out.
